Well, if you're really not depressed, then don't go. They did the same thing to me last year. They thought I was depressed, so the lady calls me down to her office to "talk". Does yours talk to you like you're six? Ours does :P. Anyhow, she wanted me to do some "lunch group" where all the immature guys go to talk about their problems. There was NO WAY I was going to miss lunch with my friends to talk about my nonexistent problems with a bunch of guys I hated. So I said, "Look, I appreciate that you want to help, but I've got my life under control, and I'm not depressed. There are so many other guys that do need you, so I don't want you to waste your time on me. Trust me, if I ever have a serious problem that I need to talk about, I'll know where to come (not to them, but they don't need to know that). Bye." Then I walked out. This worked for me. If it doesn't for you, have your parents call, like someone else said. I don't think they can talk to you if your parents tell them not to. Hope this helps.

Beating the depressing feeling. It is about recognizing that you have control of that feeling. Sure, no one likes to go to school, but no one likes to go to work either. But we do, because we recognize the benefits.

As to getting girls to like you. Remember this one piece of advice. Girls are human beings as well, there is nothing mysterious about them. If you have no problem talking to your guy friends, you should have no problem talking to girls. Just say hi to the one sitting next to you in class. Talk about the classwork, and stuff. As to the good grades, it is as simple as paying attention from day one. Often, when people find a subject difficult, it is because they missed something earlier in the term, or in the previous term. If you are not 100% sure you understand a topic, ask the questions, and get the extra help. Someday you will look back on this experience and wonder why you thought it was so tough.

Why do people say that Law school, or being a lawyer, sucks?
I have not heard so many positive things about pursuing a career in law. I have hears, read, bad things which include the following: High unemployment rate, law school sucks the life out of you, you will be 100k plus dollars in debt, and being an attorney, or lawyer, is boring, tedious, and you have no time for yourself. I want to know the truth about anyone who has had experience in this field, someone who is pursuing this career, people you might know, etc. Are there any other college majors, or careers worth pursuing instead? Why should we spend money and time on funding for football in a school that sucks at it?
My school sucks at football and we put alot of attention and money on the sport, why can't we put more money on sports were good at (i.e. tennis).
